Blue Ridge Mountains Nature Photography Workshop

Summer Session 2019 - Dates TBA

    Field Sessions -
Field trips times depend on weather conditions and will be discussed in the first class.

Have you always wanted to attend a Nature Photography Workshop, but haven't had the time or money? Well this is the next best thing. Victoria has led workshops for over 10 years and has been shooting up in the mountains for over 17 years in all seasons. Spring is a spectacular time to visit Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mountain Laurel blooms abound, spring runoff feeds beautiful waterfalls and wildflowers line trails. You’ll also have the chance to get the classic sunset over the blue/purple mountains. We’ll follow Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway to some of Victoria’s favorite spots.

During this workshop you will have ample opportunity to work on grand landscapes, intimate landscapes, macro and panoramas. The lecture will cover equipment, shooting techniques and composition. In the field Victoria will be there to help hands on. Then we’ll have a critique/photo sharing session at the end. This class is geared to Intermediate and Advanced level photographers, but beginners that have a good grasp on camera basics are welcome.
