Want to take your photography to the next level? Join me in this 5 week action packed workshop. Each week I will introduce a different photography subject. We'll cover equipment, technical tips, compositional ideas and lighting specific for each topic. Then we'll meet in the field later that week to practice hands on what we've learned. The following week we'll review everyone's images and continue onto a new subject! Subjects to be covered this spring are: Everyday Portrait Photography, Close-up/Macro Photography, Basic Flash Photography and Night Photography. This is sure to be a fun and rewarding course. Bring all of your skills together in practical shooting situations.
Maximum of 10 students due to time needed to critique images.
Students will need the following equipment for this class: SLR or 4/3's digital camera, Tripod - highly recommended for night and macro photography, an off camera flash is helpful but not required. Students must having a working knowledge of using aperture, shutter and ISO to get exposures in manual, aperture & shutter shooting modes or have taken the Intermediate Photography class at PVCC. Students should also know how to download and email images for critique/review sessions. Please contact instructor for questions on admission requirements.
